This is an authentic Matchbox The Movie 1973 Volkswagen T2b Bus, card number 10 of 12 in the special movie tie-in series, cast in 1:64 scale diecast metal with plastic accents. The bus is finished in a warm orange and white two-tone paint scheme with clean, crisp tampo graphics and rolling wheels, and it comes factory sealed on its original Matchbox: The Movie blister card, which itself features vibrant artwork tied to the film release. This card highlights the number 10/12 placement in the set, making it an easy target for anyone building a complete run of this limited series. Matchbox has been a trusted name in die-cast collecting for generations, known for realistic vehicle sculpts, sturdy metal construction, and playable rolling wheels that appeal to both children and adult collectors. This particular release ties in directly with the Matchbox: The Movie film, making it a crossover piece that appeals to Matchbox loyalists, Volkswagen bus and micro-bus enthusiasts, and movie memorabilia collectors alike. The classic VW T2b shape is instantly recognizable, and Matchbox has captured the proportions and retro charm of the real vehicle in miniature form. Condition: this is a brand new, factory sealed item that has never been removed from its original packaging. The card and bubble are in excellent shape, with only light handling wear such as minor corner or edge wear from normal storage, as can happen with any carded diecast that has passed through warehouses and hands before reaching us. Please examine the photos closely, as they show the exact card you will receive, including any small imperfections to the packaging itself; the diecast car inside is untouched and has not been played with. This item ships quickly and carefully from a smoke-free, pet-free home in Boischatel, Quebec, Canada, packed to prevent card and bubble damage in transit. If you are purchasing multiple diecast cars, dolls, or other toys from our store, please message us or wait for an invoice before paying so we can combine shipping and save you money.
