ABOUT THE FILM: Directed by and co-starring Clint Eastwood, A Perfect World stars Kevin Costner in what many critics consider his finest performance. Set in Texas in November 1963 - the week of the Kennedy assassination - escaped convict Butch Haynes (Costner) takes young Phillip Perry (T.J. Lowther) hostage. But what begins as a tense thriller gradually reveals itself as a moving meditation on fatherhood, freedom and the American Dream. Laura Dern co-stars alongside Eastwood as Texas Ranger Red Garnett. Clint Eastwood deliberately chose to release this emotionally complex film opposite Schindler's List and Mrs. Doubtfire - a bold artistic statement. Produced and distributed by Warner Bros. Written by John Lee Hancock. Running time: 138 minutes. COLLECTOR VALUE: Retail used copies sell for $4-8 USD on eBay. This screener copy with original watermark sticker commands a significant premium for collectors who specifically seek promotional versions. Similar watermarked screeners sell for $12-22 USD.
